A photo a day keeps the dolldrums away...

I know that I should have taken a "before photo" but sometimes when I get into the zone I forget such things. This skirt is from Goodwill and and was way too big for me (well it fit me round the low hips but not in a flattering way). So..I worked a pleat into the front to draw in the extra fabric and top stitched it most of the way down the length of the skirt.




Now high-waisted I finished with a complementary topstitch around the side pockets. All in all about 15 minutes of sewing and entirely worth it!
