If you know what's good for you: Beecher's Cheese Curds
The Seattle staple has hearty outpost in the flat iron where they peddle their award winning cheeses. Their cheese curds are a thing of beauty. Go eat them. That is all.

Redhook Blues
I cannot stop Redhooking. It's the only place I want to be in this city these days of late. Meatballs, King Crab Legs, Burgers, empty streets and sea breezes.

In the Trenches Pt 2
Thursday, June 14, 2012
I am fundamentally an introverted shy being. I have however, as this city requires, learned to give the opposite impression. Which is why the majority of my photos are done on a self timer by my lonesome; I enjoy quiet company. But as with anything, I must branch out and I did so by the grace of my stunning roommate yesterday.
When the rain spoiled a proposed walk with the dog, I tossed a few vintage trench coats on her, coiffed her hair etc, and marched her to the roof for an impromptu photo series. In this set, she is sporting an Etienne Aigner trench from the 80's (my mum's actually), a silk scarf from Goodwill.
Thanks Mels, you are a stunner!

Dark-Light

Napping in a Lilac Grove
Brooklyn Botanical Gardens are in full Cherry blossom and Lilac swing. I went yesterday and spent six whole hours frolicking. If you're sneaky about it, you can take a nap under a lilac bush. The perfumed breeze was overwhelmingly beautiful.
The cherry blossoms are early thins year, so go soon before the breeze takes them all away!
